Summer Salt新作アルバムの表題曲。Campanitaはヴォーカルのテリーの妹マドレーヌにおばあちゃんがつけたあだ名からとられたもので、スペイン語で「ティンカーベル」の意味があるそうです。素敵なニックネームですね。暖かく友好的な雰囲気の楽曲とは裏腹に、このアルバムの背景には二人の従妹アンジェリーナの逝去というショッキングな出来事が。アンジェリーナとマドレーヌの命を祝福するものを作りたいという思いからこのアルバムは制作されたとのことです。Summer Saltの音楽に通ずる優しさの原点にはあったかい家族の存在があるのでしょうね。
