現代社会をゆるっと斬る脱力系バンド、Cheekfaceさん。個人的にこの曲では自分で考えるより先に周りに踊らされてしまう大衆心理を風刺しているのかなと思います。ちょっと前にコロナ渦でトイレットペーパーが品薄になるという情報がSNSで拡散されて買いだめする人が続出したけど実はデマだったっていう出来事がありましたが、もっと昔に起きたオイルショックによるトイレットペーパー不足もきっかけは真偽不明の噂話だったらしいです。そう考えると"Grad School（大学院）"にはいくら勉強したっていつの時代も人間は同じことを繰り返すものだという悟りが込められているように感じます。うん、私もインフルエンサーがおすすめしてたからって化粧品をほいほい買うのやめないとな。
