ギャラガー兄弟が幼少期に父親から虐待を受けていたエピソードは結構有名ですよね。子供の頃に親から愛された経験がない人は、大人になった時、自分が受け取るはずだった親の愛を無意識に周囲の人へ求め続けるそうです。一方周囲の人はそれに不自然さを覚えて脅威に感じ、その人を遠ざけるようになるのだとか。でも当人は自然な愛というものがどんなかわからないから、避けられる理由がわからない。まるで出口のない迷路ですね。親に恵まれないっていうのは一生かけても取り返せないほどのハンディキャップなのだそうです。
この曲はそんな根源的な愛への渇望を抱く人に、希望を与えんとしている気がします。

"I'm all over it"という言い回しがよく使われるそう。これは「ちゃんとやる」「興味を持つ」という意味があるのだとか。「宿題やってるの？」「今やってるよー(I'm all over it)」みたいな感じ。
